It's amazing how involved the faculty wants to be in your legal career. They are always striving to make a better learning environment for the students and always willing to help. The professors are amazing. I've never had class where I felt like 2 hours fly by!

Sandra Day O'Conner is highly competitive, but the rewards of being a student here is well worth it. ASU provides access to the top law firms and professors that mold you to be a top lawyer.

The faculty and staff are extremely accessible and friendly. They always make efforts to help with issues a student might face. The environment is challenging yet rewarding, like any law school should be. There are a host of student organizations to be a part of. These cater to a diverse range of interests a student might have. The networking opportunities are ample and provides students a chance to interact with practicing attorneys.

The Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at ASU is located in beautiful Phoenix with some of the nation's top law professors. We have the number one Indian Legal program, the number five Legal Writing program, and the number 18 International Law program. There is a flexible option where students can go part time, and there is an incredible amount of scholarships...most of the students I know in my class received scholarships.

The JD program at ASU has been a great value overall. The student body has been fun yet competitive and the professors have been exceptional. While law school itself hasn't been all that fun, ASU has been a great environment to suffer through the sleepless nights of studying.

While the University as a whole may get some flank for being such a huge school, the law school has a very intimate setting. You will get to know all of your classmates. The law school has done a great job in its recruitment of professors from around the country and has some of the best professors in their respective fields. I was most impressed, during my first year, with the faulty support. My adviser guided me through the application process for internships and helped me outline a schedule of... Read More

Great value for a law school. Career services could be more helpful, but ASU Law basically runs the Phoenix legal market, including externship opportunities.

The ASU Law School is very affordable and has been a positive experience overall. I have had many professors I really enjoyed and the Career Services Offices does a good job keeping me updated with new employment opportunities.

ASU law school is a relaxed environment that fosters a healthy competition for success. The school structures 1L year so that the workload is manageable. There is a wide variety of classes to take 2L & 3L years. The location is in Tempe which is fine for living and commuting to internships downtown Phoenix. As with any law program, the workload is heavy. It's a great law school, especially for the cost.

My views about the program are probably skewed because I am an older student; I do not participate in social activities at the school and I do not "hang out" with my classmates. The program is like all other ABA law school programs. The college does offer a wide range of speakers, pro bono opportunities, and student groups. I am studying Federal Indian Law and environmental law and both programs are among the top in the nation. Overall, I am happy with the program.

SDOC Law at ASU is a gem of a program. The school is challenging, professors care that you actually understand the material, and the administration is supportive of student initiatives. The student body is generally friendly: students share notes, study together, and play together.
